Her artistic approach blends diverse cultural influences, reflecting her passion for storytelling through visual art. Each project is a transformative journey, whether it's a dynamic version of Macbeth at Shakespeare’s Globe in London or a cutting-edge shattered chandelier installation in a Melbourne laneway. Isla’s work encompasses new writing, opera, dance, and children's Theatre as well as installation.
Recently she has been designing puppets for her productions alongside sets and costumes. Isla thrives on collaborations, continuously seeking new design challenges and opportunities for creative expression.
